Pediatric Occupational Therapy
BUILDING SKILLS FOR LIFE'S LITTLE ADVENTURES
What is Pediatric Occupational Therapy?
Occupational therapy helps children develop the skills they need to do the things that matter most in their daily lives, from getting dressed and holding a pencil to playing with friends and navigating a classroom. At New Leaf, our pediatric OT services support children from birth through age 18 who may be experiencing difficulties with fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, handwriting, daily routines, and more. Our occupational therapists take a child-centered approach, meeting each child where they are and building the skills that help them participate more fully at home, at school, and in their community. Because when a child can do the things they love with greater confidence and independence, everything else opens up.
